Xavier is a bright and engaging young man, with a curious mind and a heart full of hope. Outgoing and respectful, Xavier builds positive relationships with his teachers and peers and truly enjoys learning. Whether he's chatting with friends at school, heading to the library, or diving into new adventures, Xavier brings his full, fearless self to everything he does.

At home, you’ll often find Xavier watching cartoons, building with LEGOs, or playing video games. He loves swimming, listening to music, caring for animals (especially guinea pigs!), and exploring his favorite dishes—Soul food and Mexican cuisine top the list. Summer camps, recreation center visits, and time with people he cares about bring him a lot of joy.

Xavier is also a natural storyteller with a great sense of humor. He is curious, open to new experiences, and able to speak up for his needs. He deeply desires a family that will offer him unconditional love and stability.

Xavier will thrive in a family that understands trauma-informed care and is familiar with the foster care system and the services it provides. He would do best with at least one stay-at-home or flexible parent who can be present and consistent to meet his developmental needs. Xavier values connection—he lights up when a parent is involved in his activities, whether it’s gaming, going to the park, or celebrating holidays together. He also hopes his future family will honor his past relationships.

Xavier might not yet have the words to fully define what permanency means, but he knows what he’s looking for: a forever family that shows up, sticks around, and loves big.
