Gilberto is a great kid looking for a loving home. It is clear when playing with Gilberto that he likes to try new things and explore his surroundings. Some of the things Gilberto enjoys most are trying new foods and new hands-on sensory experiences. In addition to being curious, Gilberto likes playing on his tablet, watching TV, and going for walks with a caring adult. Gilberto's favorite foods include pizza, tacos, chips and donuts. It is noted that Gilberto has great receptive and expressive language and thrives when interacting with others. He does well with peers and enjoys attending school.

Gilberto remains connected to his siblings and grandmother through ongoing visits each month. Because of these connections, Gilberto's future forever family will need to be open to maintain these relationships.  Gilberto will do best in any family who can offer relational and ongoing developmental support. Additional, Gilberto does well with other children and active families. The right home will welcome additional supports in the home; provide structure, consistency and unconditional care and commitment.
