Meet Nathan! Nathan (who also goes by Aiden) is a fun, energetic, and engaging 15-year-old! Nathan often presents as silly and excited. Nathan’s interests include playing his guitar or ukelele, strategy games, horses, and sports such as track and football. He also enjoys spending time with friends and watching shows. Nathan enjoys being in a home where he receives one on one attention. Nathan is articulate and able to express his thoughts clearly. 

Nathan will benefit from a home with a very structured environment, guidance, and reasonable expectations. He needs a caregiver who will communicate with him respectfully, allow him to advocate for himself, and provide accountability. He is looking for a family he can count on to support him as he transitions to adulthood. Nathan will thrive in a home where he is supported in continuing to explore his interests such as music and horses. Nathan is looking for a family he can count on consistently and who are committed to him through thick and thin.

The ideal family for Nathan will have knowledge of, or a willingness to receive education, regarding caring for children who have experienced significant trauma, as well as children with special needs. The ideal family for Nathan will be able to engage him in equine therapy, be patient as he builds trust, and provide a high level of structure. Nathan will do best as the youngest or only child in the home.
