Yemaya is a sweet and sassy girl who captures the heart of those who interact with her. Yemaya is working on pulling herself up to a standing position. While she cannot walk yet, she gets around quickly by pushing herself with her feet. Yemaya loves playing with toys and will play with any type of toy available to her. Yemaya is a snuggler and loves cuddles and back rubs. Yemaya has made tremendous progress in her mobility and feeding and enjoys eating yogurt drops and baby puffs.

Yemaya is hoping to have a family who can give her the care and commitment she needs. Yemaya will do best in a family that has experience caring for children with complex medical and developmental needs. The family will need to be open to ongoing training and collaborating with Yemaya’s professional team to ensure appropriate care. Yemaya would benefit from having active siblings to look up to. Other than this, any family makeup would work for Yemaya, but it will be important for her care to keep her medical team in Phoenix.
