Sayuri is a tender-hearted girl whose presence fills a room with quiet joy. She delights in the simple, beautiful things—as she spends time in her room, she listens to any kind of music. Sayuri especially loves being spoken to and read to—she soaks in every word, finding comfort in the voices of those who care for her. Her caregivers love to braid her hair with cute bows to accessorize as well as adding comforting pillows and stuffed animals to her bed. Sunshine is one of her favorite things, and she enjoys the sunlight that comes with cozy naps throughout the day, gently restoring her energy.

What Sayuri needs most is a family who will embrace her fully—a patient, loving home where she can feel safe and treasured. She would thrive in a calm, nurturing environment where someone is able to spend quality time with her, reading stories, speaking softly, and showing her consistent care. Given her medical needs, she would do best with either a single parent or two parent household with experience—or an open heart willing to learn—would be a beautiful fit.
