Nellie is an engaging, sociable preteen who brings warmth and energy wherever she goes. With her outgoing personality, she connects quickly with others and thrives in social settings. She enjoys simple favorites like a warm bowl of noodles, an ice-cold cherry Coke, and the occasional trip to McDonald’s, something she never turns down. Music is a big part of Nellie's daily life, often playing in the background while she relaxes or scrolls through YouTube. She especially loves Taylor Swift, whose song "Shake It Off" is tied to one of her earliest and happiest memories, reflecting Nellie's own upbeat and expressive spirit.

In school, Nellie is enthusiastic, with a special love for math. She enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in challenging herself. Time with friends is very important to her, whether they're laughing, sharing music,

or simply enjoying each other's company.  Looking ahead, Nellie dreams of becoming a fashion designer. She enjoys thinking creatively about style and is also interested in learning how to cook. She is helpful and task-oriented, approaching responsibilities with focus and determination.

Nellie would thrive in a trauma-informed home, ideally with a single mother, where she can receive consistent support, structure, and care. She would do well as the youngest in a family with siblings and would especially love a home with pets, offering her comfort, companionship, and joy.
