Blake

Meet Blake!

Blake is a youth who is friendly and likes to greet others, especially when he is out and about. Blake is affectionate with his caregivers once he is comfortable. He enjoys giving and receiving hugs, as well as the reassuring presence of a caregiver. Blake has a sweet tooth! Some of his favorite foods include sugar, milk, chocolate milk, and cake. Blake loves Pokémon cards! One of his favorite things to do is going to the store to look at Pokémon cards. He also enjoys playing Mario Kart or Ghost Simulator, swimming, movies, listening to music, dinosaurs, and cars. Blake likes math and does well. Blake benefits from academic support and is looking for caregivers who will be strong advocates for him. He shared that he would like to be homeschooled someday, as school can be difficult for him.

Blake looks forward to achieving permanency through adoption. He desires the love, connection, and support that a family will provide for him. He would prefer a home with no other children where he’ll have both a mom and dad to support him. Blake really enjoys the companionship and support that animals can provide. He shared that he enjoys ferrets and dogs. He would enjoy having a pet in his forever home.  His current caregiver shared that Blake would benefit from a caregiver who is emotionally intelligent, patient, and can have a calm approach with Blake. Blake will benefit from a home that has a consistent, structured routine. He needs caregivers who can keep his trauma history and specific needs in mind when parenting him.
