Meet Astrid!

Astrid captures the heart of anyone in the room with her sweet smile and big eyes. Astrid has a strong personality and loves to make people laugh. She is a fashionista and enjoys knowing what outfits she is wearing and what her hair looks like each day. Astrid loves listening to music and being sung to. Astrid also enjoys cartoon shows such as Bluey, Masha and the Bear, and Strawberry Shortcake. Astrid is working on her neck control and has gotten stronger with lots of practice and help from her therapists. Astrid enjoys going to school and is a class favorite among her teachers and peers. 

Astrid is hoping to find a family that can give her the love, care, and attention she needs. Astrid would do best in a family that has experience caring for a child with medical and developmental needs. It will be important for Astrid’s family to be willing and able to engage in training and education about Astrid’s conditions to best care for her. Any family makeup would benefit Astrid. Astrid enjoys being around other people, so having siblings would be welcomed. Astrid has close connections that will be important for her to keep, so it is important that Astrid’s family is open to maintaining these relationships.
