When you meet Nathan and Jacob, it’s clear right away that even though they are tight-knit brothers, they could not be more different. When asked how close they are, Nathan leans into his little brother Jacob for a big, tight hug and says smiling, “THIS close!”
Jacob is the creative one. He loves to use lots of color to create different designs. His favorite colors are orange and red like his hair, which once got him free stuff on a trip to Payson. He loves math and says it comes easy to him. He poked a little fun at his older brother for using a calculator – he’s so good at math he doesn’t need one. Jacob is young, but ambitious. Already he’s trying to decide between being an engineer (because of his love of math) or a police officer. He thinks it would be fun to fight crime.
Nathan is more into science and basketball. His favorite memory from school is when he built a replica of earth with moveable plates to understand how earthquakes happen. When he isn’t busy learning in school, Nathan likes to draw superheroes – they save the day! His favorite game is “Lego Batman” and he can name all of the Marvel and DC characters.
Family is very important to Jacob and Nathan. They hope to stay together as brothers forever – unless they’re talking about where they’d visit if they could go anywhere on Earth – Jacob would visit LegoLand and Nathan wants to go to Chuck-E-Cheese.
Jacob was born in 2009. Nathan was born in 2005.
